Stockton Man Arrested on Drug Manufacturing, Weapons Charges After Trying to Allude Police

Stockton, Calif. - A Stockton man was taken into custody after an attempt to allude police officers yesterday afternoon.

On Friday, December 16, Stockton Police were responded to 1400 block of Country Club Blvd,  in the City's Civic District. regarding a call reporting a man armed with a gun. When they arrived on scene the suspect ran into his residence, armed with the gun. 

The suspect, Jason Vaughn Paterson, 26, surrendered a short time later and was arrested. A search of his home revealed a loaded handgun with an extended magazine and drug items. 

Patterson is being held on a $1.9 million bail at the San Joaquin County Jail and faces 11 felony and two misdemeanor charges. Arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday, December 20 at Stockton Superior Court.
