Elk Grove Police Execute Search Warrant on Suspected Pot House, 400 Plants Discovered, Two Arrested

A search warrant executed by Elk Grove Police led to the discovery of a Sacramento grow operation with over 400 plants and the arrests of two suspect.

On Tuesday, March 8 shortly after 6 a.m. a search warrant was served on a suspected indoor marijuana grow operation on Valley Crest Court in Sacramento. Once inside the dwelling, police contacted Tian Zhou (above right), 44, of Sacramento who was detained.

A search of the residence led to the discovery of over 400 plants, indicia of sales, a handgun, and ammunition. As a result of the search, police contacted Shan Zhou (above left), 40, at his Elk Grove residence and was detained.

Both suspects were arrested and booked into the county jail where they remain in custody ineligible for release. The arraignment of both suspects is scheduled for Thursday, March 9.
