A man suspected in a road rage incident was arrested by Elk Grove Police.

On Tuesday, September 28 police responded to Elk Grove Boulevard and Laguna Springs Drive regarding fight between two men.  When officers arrived, it was determined that James Allen Bauder was allegedly driving his vehicle when another vehicle being driven by the victim pulled in front of him.

While both vehicles were stopped at a red light, Bauder reportedly exited his vehicle, walked over to the victim’s vehicle and punched the side mirror causing damage. When the victim exited his vehicle and confronted Bauder, he returned to his vehicle.

Bauder then drove towards the victim and struck the victim and drove away. The victim suffered minor injuries and did not require medical treatment at the scene.
