Two Suspects Arrested as Elk Grove Police Busts More Pot Houses

Two suspects are in custody at the Sacramento County Jail after Elk Grove Police served search warrants on seven residential units suspected of being involved in a marijuana-growing operation.

At 7 a.m. on Wednesday, December 20, Elk Grove Police's street crime unit served search warrants on the 9200 block of Glenayle Place., 8100 block of Laguna Brook Way, 8800 block of Coral Berry Way, 8500 block of Blackberry Way, 6900 block of Kilconnell Dr., 5300 block of Lake Pleasant Drive, and 9400 block of Syrah Ct. related to an active marijuana cultivation operation.

During the searches, police arrested Pin Guan Wang (above right), 54, and Quingfen Han (above left), 43, both of Elk Grove. Police seized over 1700 plants and 16 pounds of processed marijuana. Both suspects are not eligible for bail and scheduled for arraignment on Friday, December 22.
