Citrus Heights Man Indicted on Federal Charges of Receiving Child Pornography

A Citrus Height. California man was indicted in Federal Court in Sacramento yesterday on charges he received child pornography.

According to the indictment Emanuel Mois, 25, knowingly received visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct between November 2016 and February 2017. The case against Mois was investigated by the Citrus Heights Police, the FBI, with assistance of the Roseville Police Department.

If convicted, Mois faces a minimum statutory penalty of 15 years in prison and a maximum penalty of 40 years in prison, as well as a $250,000 fine. Mois is being held at the Sacramento County Jail and is not eligible for release on bail.

No future court dates have been set.
