Bera responds to Trump's Twitter threat to withhold FEMA aid for Camp Fire victims

As has been the case for almost two years, President Donald Trump has taken to an early morning Twitter tirade. This time the target has been the State of California and the pawns are victims of the Camp Fire.

This morning Trump posted the follow on Twitter:

Billions of dollars are sent to the State of California for Forest fires that, with proper Forest Management, would never happen. Unless they get their act together, which is unlikely, I have ordered FEMA to send no more money. It is a disgraceful situation in lives & money!

Wasting no time, Rep. Dr. Ami Bera (D - Elk Grove, Calif.) responded to the announcement by posting his own reputation of the presidents's threat.

Trump's threats against California and Camp Fire victims comes the morning after his first Oval Office address. The speech has been panned not only by his Democratic critics, but by many conservatives as well.
