Gunfire in neighborhood near Elk Grove's District56 under investigation

Early morning gunfire in Elk Grove are under investigation by Elk Grove Police.
Just after midnight on Sunday, October 20 police responded to several calls of gunshots on the 6200 block of Primoak Way in the Laguna neighborhood just north of the District56 civic center. Responding officers located evidence of shots and discovered a vehicle parked in a driveway had been struck. There were no injuries.
Police say early indication of their investigation indicates although it was an isolated incident, it was not random. The investigation is active and ongoing.
