Three suspects arrested for burglarizing Elk Grove Church

Three suspects were arrested by Elk Grove Police after they allegedly burglarized a church early this morning.

The three suspects, Brian James Marshall, 40, Rueben Kottke, and Destiny Faith Garza, 35 were contacted by police officers at the Harvest Church on East Stockton Boulevard on the city's far south side.  Officers observed the three leaving the area of the church.

After stopping them, officers learned all three were on probation and a subsequent vehicle search led to the discovery of a chain saw, gas can and gas edger. Church personnel confirmed the equipment was stolen from a secured storage area.

All three suspects were arrested and booked at the county jail on charges of burglary, possession of burglary tools, violation of probation and conspiracy. Arraignment is on Tuesday, March 10.
