According to police reports, officers responded at 10:25 p.m. to the 9200 block of Starfish Way after receiving gunshots reports. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male lying in the street with gunshot wounds.

The victim did not respond to life-saving efforts by police and Cosumnes Fire Department personnel and succumbed to the injuries.
