ELK GROVE, CA – The Elk Grove Police Department has received information regarding the identity of the individual discovered in the drainage ditch near Iris Meadow Way and Fire Poppy Drive on February 3, 2008.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased as 32-year-old Ryan Gonsales of Modesto. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has ruled out homicide as the cause of death. The exact cause of death will be determined after toxicology reports return.
