ELK GROVE, CA – The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating two individuals wanted in connection with a shooting that took place on March 12, 2008. The two suspects are Jesse Cornish (left) DOB 07-25-1987 and Arika Shaw DOB 05-23-1986.

Detectives have determined that on March 12, 2008, Jesse Cornish was directly involved in the shooting of Jabarie Mike which took place in the 8600 block of Territorial Way. Cornish should be considered armed and dangerous. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Cornish for attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and shooting into an inhabited dwelling. The second suspect directly involved in the shooting has not yet been identified; however, a second arrest warrant has been issued for Cornish’s girlfriend, Arika Shaw, for attempted murder and conspiracy.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of either Jesse Cornish or Arika Shaw is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department at (916) 714-5115 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Callers to Crime Alert can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.

you never know i think they were in it together. The police do investigate before they go in arresting innocent people.
