The California State Licensing Board (CSLB) and Elk Grove police arrested five individuals suspected of operating without required licenses on Wednesday, April 30 in Elk Grove.

The sweep was under the direction of the CSLB with Elk Grove police assisting. Along with four arrests, the joint operation issued two administrative citations, five misdemeanor citations, towed five vehicles and issued 15 CSLB misdemeanor violations. The sweep was conducted in the 7500 block of Nassa Circle.

There was a separate arrest at the same address earlier in the afternoon. In that incident the suspect, Viet Huynh, 47, fled the scene. After a struggle, he was arrested by police for resisting arrest and transported to the county jail.

Elk Grove police did not have any further information regarding the violations. There was no immediate response from the CLSB regarding the sweep.
