Sheldon and Bond. Note that diesel is above $5/gal.

Elk Grove Blvd. and Big Horn.

Laguna Blvd. and Harbour Pointe.

Meanwhile, Fox Business Business News correspondent Dunstan Prial points out that high gas prices may, in the long run, be beneficial for the United States. Prial notes smaller homes and less driving, for example, may benefit the environment and our general business practices.

As John Maynard Keynes pointed out though, in the long run we're all dead!

So, $5.099 -- OK, $5.10 per gallon -- if you round off (but who'spayig attention) is about where it starts to really hurt. Every cough drop, Rice Dream drink, box of dehydrated instant mashed potatoes comes to your nearby Wal-Mart by truck buring that $5 a gallon fossil fuel, which is one contributing factor in why the prices are up so high. The other contributing factor is pure greed and the merchant's sure knowledge he/she can get away with it. It's so much easier to mark-up the peanut butter and demand payment at the cash register than ask for a raise to compensate for the increase.
