ELK GROVE, CA – The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a subject involved in a bank robbery that took place on May 24, 2008 at the U.S. Bank located at 5021 Laguna Boulevard.

At approximately 1:26 p.m., the subject pictured below approached a teller at U.S. Bank and displayed a piece of paper that indicated that he was armed and demanded money. The teller complied and handed the subject money. The subject placed the money inside a “to go” cup and exited the location. It is unknown what method of transportation was utilized by the subject as he fled the area.

The subject is described as a white male, approximately forty years old, five feet eight inches tall (5’8”), one hundred ninety pounds (190 lbs.), wearing glasses and a black cowboy hat.

Anyone with information regarding this crime, or suspect is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
