Happy Independence Day Elk Grove!

As we prepare our fireworks, beer and bar-b-que for the Fourth of July, let us not forget the origins of the American Revolution.

In this age of corporate media, government and corporate collaboration, intrusion into our privacy and civil liberties and the attempts to stifle free speech, it is still up to us to preserve and fight for our rights. If we don't, government on all levels from the executive branch on down to municipal representatives will gladly suppress them.

Remember, we the people we are still the snake and we can bite the dragon and King George.
