Three incumbent Elk Grove city council members running for reelection this November received a combined $45,000 from their collective largest patrons according to financial disclosure forms on record with the Elk Grove city clerk.

All of the patrons were business interest, primarily real estate developers, located outside of Elk Grove.

Jim Cooper had six patrons donating $2,500 each. They include:

Total large patron contributions: $15,000

Mike Leary had one patron contributing $5,000 and three giving $2,500. They include:
