Elk Grove police catch two youth taggers

Elk Grove police caught two juvenile taggers on Saturday, August 23 at 8 am in the act of spray painting the railroad sound wall located near Dover Circle.

Responding to a call, officers located one of the suspects who had spray cans and fresh paint on his hands. The suspect was cited and released to a parent.

The second suspect fled officers and was later located hiding by a nearby business. This youth suspect had an outstanding warrant for escaping a juvenile detention facility and was taken into custody.

Ed. note: This graffiti is located in the area described in the police report and is believed to be the damaged property.
