'KT' Tran launches campaign website

Elk Grove city council candidate launches website - no shortage of big ideas


It can't be said that Khanh 'KT' Tran is a candidate lacking big ideas.

A review of his campaign website, which was launched earlier today, reveals a candidate using a local platform to address global problems. The self-proclaimed 'energy guy' has built his candidacy around development of green energy and bringing those industries to Elk Grove.

On a more local level, Tran is also proposing changes in how Elk Grove is governed. Among others, Tran is proposing all local elected officials be limited to three terms and the creation of new commissions to limit city council influence.

Tran is the third candidate to challenge two-term incumbent Sophia Scherman.
