ELK GROVE, CA – The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a person possibly involved in a residential robbery that occurred on September 8, 2008.

On September 8, 2008, an unknown masked suspect entered a residence in the 8400 block of Raspberry Way and confronted the occupant with a small knife. The suspect demanded personal property and left the residence with a purse belonging to the resident. On October 5, 2008, the individual pictured below attempted to pass a check from the victim’s account at Thunder Valley Casino. The transaction was denied and the unidentified female was captured on video surveillance leaving Thunder Valley (surveillance video available on CD).

The subject in the video is described as a Caucasian female, approximately twenty to thirty years of age, five feet five inches tall (5’5”), one hundred and seventy pounds (170 lbs.), wearing a black jacket, black shirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information regarding this crime, or subject is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Detective Bureau at (916) 478-8060 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Callers to Crime Alert can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
