Teen assualted Friday night by five people

An Elk Grove teenager was assaulted Friday night by five males, Elk Grove police report.

The 17-year old male was punched in the face by five assailants at approximately 9:19 pm on Geneva Pointe and Auberry in north-central Elk Grove. Four of the suspects fled in a white vehicle and the other on foot.

The victim was unable to provide any physical descriptions to police.
