Elk Grove man held-up in front of own house

An Elk Grove resident was robbed in front of his own house late Monday night.

According to Elk Grove police, the victim was in front of his house on the 8300 block of Laporte Way when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect demanded the victim's personal property and then physically took the wallet from the victim and fled the area on foot.

The victim's debit card was discovered to have been used a short time later at a gas station. The suspect is described as a black male 18 to 25 years of age and possibly driving a dark colored Lexus.
