First Weekend of '09 Relatively Calm For EGPD

The first complete weekend of the new year in Elk Grove saw a relatively calm period according to the daily watch summary report of the Elk Grove Police Department.

For the three days ending early this morning, Elk Grove police made arrests for dui, public intoxication, car burglary, narcotics, shoplifting and domestic violence. Of the six arrests, all the suspect were 21 years of age or younger with three being juveniles.

Of note, there were no reported incidents or arrest made on Saturday.
