Elk Grove Grove arrested three suspects late last night after they allegedly fired bullets on a house on the 7400 block of Beaver Falls Way.

According to police reports, officers responded to Beaver Falls Way and found several bullet fragments in front of the house. Witnesses gave physical descriptions of the three and said they were driving a red Honda Civic.

An Elk Grove patrol officer located the matching vehicle unoccupied in the parking lot of Strikes bowling center on Laguna Boulevard. Officers were able to detain one of the suspects, 22 year-old Brandie Burr of Elk Grove, as she exited the facility.

Officers located and detained 23 year-old Star Millsaps of Elk Grove and 20-year old Jospeh Boyer of Sacramento. Officers searched the vehicle and located a gun, ammunition and casings. It is not clear who shot the rounds.

Witnesses positively identified all three and police then arrested the trio. They were all transferred to county jail.

In all fairness, the male subject fired the gun. The girls were there and didn't know what he was about to do. They are guilty of bad choices in friends for sure, but are not hardened criminals. Nevertheless, being in the car with him is enough to be arrested and held on felony charges. It's a sad situation.
