Kammerer Road Extension Public Meeting To Be Held This Thursday In Elk Grove

The City of Elk Grove in conjunction with Sacramento County, is developing a Project Study Report (PSR) for the proposed Kammerer Road extension to I-5. The extension will provide circulation and mobility to support existing and planned growth within the County’s and City’s general plans.

The PSR will explore possible alignments and estimate cost information so that funding may be pursued. By initiating the PSR now, a project approach can be created that will provide opportunity to plan for the future while minimizing impacts to the community and the environmental resources.

The meeting is this Thursday, March 12, 2009 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and will be held at Carroll Elementary School, 10325 Stathos Drive, Elk Grove.
