Elk Grove Police Arrest Two Juveniles For Late-Morning Burglary

Two juvenile suspects were arrested yesterday morning on suspicion of burglarizing a house on 8900 block of Virginia Fife Way in Elk Grove.

According to police reports, a witness saw the two teenaged Sacramento males enter the backyard of the burglarized house. When police arrived, both fled on foot.

The first suspect was detained by officers at the scene. The other suspect was located with the help of a K9 officer in a backyard on the 9000 block of Virginia Fife Way.

Police confirmed the residence has been broken into and were able to recover the stolen property. Both teenagers were transferred to juvenile hall.
