Elk Grove Road Detour Alert: Western Festival Street Closures

A 52-year tradition continues in Elk Grove as the Elk Grove Western Festival takes over the town on Saturday and Sunday, May 2 and 3.

On Saturday, May 2 a parade – which begins in Old Town and makes its way to Elk Grove Regional Park – will feature more than 150 entries, including everything from classic cars and bands, to floats and horses.

The following street closures will be in effect from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 2:

* Elk Grove Blvd. from Kent St. to Emerald Oak Dr.
* Emerald Oak Dr. to Valley Oak Dr.
* Valley Oak Dr. from Elk Grove Florin Rd. to Emerald Oak Dr.
