Elk Grove Police Make Arrests In Two Domestic Violence Incidents

Elk Grove Police made two arrests in domestic violence incidents this weekend.

The first case occurred late Sunday night and involved 30-year old suspect Shalvenesh Sharma of Elk Grove who allegedly struck his victim in the face following an argument. The suspect was transferred to county jail and the victim was issued an emergency protective order.

In the second incident, 45-year old Velessate Clemmons-Kelley of Elk Grove was involved in a verbal argument when she allegedly struck the victim in the face and bit the victim's wrist. The suspect was transferred to the county jail.
