Lady Mugged at Elk Grove Wal-Mart

A 43-year old lady was mugged early yesterday afternoon at the Wal-Mart on Elk Grove Boulevard in Elk Grove.

According to police reports, the victim was loading her items in her car when she was approached an unknown suspect asking her for $5.00. When the victim denied the request, the suspect reached over and ripped a gold necklace around the victims neck.

After ripping the necklace, a creme colored vehicle pulled up and the suspect entered the vehicle which then fled north on W. Stockton Boulevard. The suspected mugger was described as a black male aged 18to 20, 5'9" tall, 120 lbs with dread locks. The driver was described as a black male aged 19-20.
