A Wilton man was arrested early this morning after leaving the scene of a vehicle accident only to be arrested after returning.
According to Elk Grove Police, 31-year old David Schultz was allegedly involved in an accident where he hit two parked cars on 2nd Ave and Sara Street. Schultz reportedly fled the scene of the accident.
As officers were investigating the incident, Schultz returned to the scene. When contracted by officers, Schultz displayed signs of impairment and performed poorly on sobriety test.
The suspect was arrested and transferred to the county jail.
