Elk Grove Police Arrests Five For Burglary

Elk Grove Police arrested five Sacramento men early this morning as they were burglarizing a home on the 4200 block of Zacarro Way.

According to police reports, officers responded to a call of possible break-in at 12:30 AM Monday morning. Arriving at the scene, officers discovered several individuals inside the residence.

When the suspects realized officers were on the scene, they attempted to flee through a side garage door. Two suspects, 18-year old Steven Nat and a 17-year old juvenile were immediately caught.

Officers used a police K-9 unit to capture another 17-year old suspect hiding inside a closet. The other two suspects were able to flee the scene.

24-year-old Sonny Chao was quickly apprehended near the residence and the fifth suspect, 20-year old Sarom Kuy was caught while trying to leave the area in a vehicle. The adult suspect were transferred to the county jail and the juveniles were transferred to juvenile hall.
