Elk Grove Police Make Another Pot House Arrest

Yesterday afternoon Elk Grove Police served search warrants within Elk Grove and Sacramento related to an alleged marijuana growing operation. The operation was conducted by detectives from the Narcotics and Street Crimes Unit and the Elk Grove Police S.W.A.T. team.

The search warrants included two locations in Sacramento: on the 5200 block of Village Wood Drive and 7900 block of Stevenson Avenue. In Elk Grove the search was conducted on the 8100 block of Drais Way.



Detectives located a growing operation at the Village Wood Dr. location that included 681 marijuana plants and ten pounds of processed marijuana. Two semi-automatic weapons were recovered from each of the Sacramento locations.

Arrested were 36-year old Dalshawn Boson and 28-year old Jovanna Johnson. Both are being held in the county jail.
