This edition of EGMM will examine the California 460 recently file with the Elk Grove City Clerk for charter council member Jim Cooper.

Cooper, who political aspirations have been a sort of parlor game in Elk Grove, announced his next political goal: he will run for Sacramento County Sherriff in 2010

The filings with Elk Grove only reflect contributions related to his seat on the city council, not for his campaign committee for sheriff.

Check back as images of the complete 460 filing for Cooper and each council member will be posted.

Looks pretty clear that financial support comes from outside the City......real estate interests????It is becoming increasingly clear that the two major proponents (Hume & Cooper) for including the flood plain are getting their financial support from outside the City of Elk Grove. And guess what: The flood plain is outside the City of Elk Grove...Surprise

Guess what, you'll find no surprise when the other reports come out and see the same things for the other council members.
