What started out as a disturbance called yesterday afternoon resulted in an arrest of an Elk Grove women.
According to police reports, officers responded to a disturbance call on the 2700 block of Dinwiddie Way where they attempted to detain 22-year old Lauren Bryant of Elk Grove. Bryant reportedly resisted officer’s attempts to detain her and began kicking and biting the officers.
Once the suspect was restrained and placed in the rear seat of the police car, she reportedly attempted to kick out the windows. The suspect was again restrained and transferred to the county jail.
No medical attention was required for the officers.
Police arrest Elk Grove Women for attempted car theft
Early yesterday afternoon police arrested 47-year old Debra Bair on suspicion of attempting to steal a car and illegally entering a dwelling.
According to police reports, Bair allegedly entered an occupied home on the 8800 block of Mohamed Circle without permission and then entered a neighbors car and attempted to use a screwdriver to start the car.
Responding officers arrived and apprehended the suspect who was arrested and transferred to the county jail.
