Elk Grove Police Bust Four Suspects For Stolen Car, Loaded Guns

Elk Grove Police arrested four suspects yesterday following a routine vehicle code violation stop.

According to police reports, officers stopped the vehicle with the four suspects Wednesday afternoon on the 9200 block for a vehicle code violation. Officers discovered that the driver, 19-year old Alvin Vongvilay of Sacramento was driving on a suspended license.

Police also discovered that one of the suspects, 21-year old Thanh Chau of Elk Grove was on a searchable probation. A search of the vehicle revealed two loaded firearms that had been reported stolen.

Officers also contacted the registered owner of the vehicle and found that the vehicle was an unreported stolen car. Police arrest the two suspects noted as well as 23-year old Quyhn Ho of Sacramento and 22-year old Ritchie Inthavilaysuk of Sacramento and transferred them to the county jail.

Drug and domestic violence arrests

Police also made two other significant arrests on Wednesday.

Early Wednesday morning 25-year old Mandeep Mahay of Elk Grove was involved in a verbal argument that escalated into physical altercation. The suspect allegedly grabbed his victim by the heck causing a visible injury.

Mahay was arrested and transferred to the county jail.

Police also arrested 51-year old Braun Booda of Sacramento following a routine vehicle stop on Highway 99 and Laguna Boulevard .

A record check revealed that the suspect was on a searchable probation which lead to the discovery of narcotics paraphernalia. The suspect was transferred to the county jail.
