Three Arrested on Drugs, Gun Charges

Elk Grove Police arrested three suspects Monday morning follow a probation search.

According to police reports, three suspects were contacted while occupying a park car on the 1800 block of Bastona Drive. A records search revealed that 21-year old Alan Cabatic and 22-year old Bihn Dang, both of Elk Grove, were both on a searchable probation.

A search of Cabatic revealed possession of narcotics and officers found narcotics and marijuana during the vehicle search. A search of third suspect in the car residence’s, 22-year old Johnson Tran of Elk Grove uncovered additional narcotics and a loaded firearm.

All three were arrested and transferred to the county jail.

Teenager attacked for jacket, bike

In other activity, police report a 13-year old Elk Grove male was attacked yesterday afternoon on the 8700 block of Heritage Hill Drive .

According to reports, the teenager was riding his bicycle when he was approached by two unknown suspects. One of the suspects forced the victim off his bike and punched him in the face. The suspect who launched the attack took the victims jacket while the other suspect took his orange Mongoose bicycle.

Both suspects immediately fled. No other information regarding the two suspects is currently available.
