Elk Grove Police made five arrests yesterday including one for narcotics possession and two Stockton shoplifters.
According to police reports, 25-year old Earl Risby of Elk Grove was sitting in the driver’s seat of car parked at the apartment complex located on 6800 block of Di Lusso Drive when he was contacted by officers. Risby is said to have advised the officers he was on probation from another state.
A consent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of marijuana and narcotics inside a backpack. The suspect was arrested and transferred to the county jail.
Police arrested 33-year old Stephanie Leflar and Dan Rhea of Stockton after they had been detained by loss prevention personnel at the Kohl's store on Calvine Road. Both suspects were transferred to the county jail.
Other arrests include 34-year old Angelika Heath of Ione on suspicion of drunk driving and 30-year old Robert Rice of Elk Grove for an active warrant. Both were transferred to the county jail.
