Elk Grove SOI Public Outreach Meeting this Thursday

The City of Elk Grove and County of Sacramento will hold a joint public outreach meeting on Thursday, March 11 to discuss the city’s sphere of influence (SOI) application.

As the second of four scheduled meetings on the controversial SOI application, this meeting will be focused on floodplain and transition zone property owners. The City of Elk Grove’s SOI application seeks to include a large swath of currently agricultural land on it's south side into its jurisdiction.

The meeting will be held at the Elk Grove City Hall and will start at 6:30 p.m.
