On Friday, April 16, 2010 at 9:33 a.m., the Elk Grove Police Department responded to a call of an armed robbery that had just occurred at Wendy’s (9120 Harbour Point Drive).
An employee of the restaurant was confronted by an armed male suspect who had entered the establishment and demanded money from inside the cash register. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of currency by the employee, and was last seen walking north from the restaurant.
The suspect was described as wearing a black mask, blue sweatshirt, black pants and was armed with a handgun.
An Elk Grove motorcycle officer observed an individual matching the description of the suspect walking on Longport Court just west of Harbour Point Drive. Additional officers responded and assisted in detaining 25-year-old Sacramento resident George Henderson (photo attached).
A search of Henderson revealed that he was in possession of a loaded firearm; currency believed to have been taken in the robbery and was wearing clothing that matched the description provided by witnesses.
Witnesses from the restaurant were contacted and positively identified George Henderson as the person responsible for the armed robbery. Henderson was arrested on robbery and weapons charges then transported to the Sacramento County Main Jail.

What a MORON!!!!! Let's see...rob a business and then head out walking down the street...is that this dodo's idea of an escape plan? Maybe he should run for City Council!
I saw this man walking slowly through the chevron gas station before he was brought to the ground by police. He didn't look to be nervous or in a hurry. He walked right in front of my car and was checking out the woman in front of me. Looked to me like he was on drugs and when I heard police scream at him to get down on the ground, I left to keep my child safe.
Fast food. Must be why that fool has zits. Dude needs a shave too.
