Elk Grove Police Arrest Man For Punching Lady, Stealing Car

Elk Grove Police arrested a Sacramento man early Sunday morning after he allegedly assaulted a lady and stole her car.

According to police reports, 37-year old Kevin Collins was involved in a verbal argument with a female victim on the 10100 block of Frank Greg Way that escalated in a physical confrontation. Collins reportedly punched the victim in the mouth and got into her car and left without her permission.

The victim contacted Collins via cell phone and convinced him to return with the vehicle. When the suspect arrived, he was met by police officers who arrested him.

The victim’s car was returned and Collins was transferred to the county jail.
