Bera Opens Second Office in Carmichael

Dr. Ami Bera, M.D., Democratic Candidate for California’s Third Congressional had a grand opening of a second campaign office in Carmichael on Saturday, August 7. Bera is running against Republican candidate Dan Lungren.

The campaign between Bera and Lungren has attracted national attention as Lungren has been viewed as a highly vulnerable and is being targeted by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. A three term incumbent, Lungren won reelection in 2008 but was unable to carry a majority of votes in the traditionally Republican district.

Bera, a political newcomer, has significantly outpaced Lungren in the all important fundraising race thus far.
