Elk Grove Police investigate fatal motorcycle accident

On October 16, 2010, at 12:38 a.m., the Elk Grove Police Department responded to a single vehicle motorcycle collision on Big Horn Blvd. south of Civic Center Dr.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that a 19-year-old motorcyclist traveling south on Big Horn Blvd. had lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a pole. The motorcyclist was thrown from his motorcycle as a result of the collision and suffered fatal injuries.

Medical personnel arrived and determined that the motorcyclist was deceased. Identification of the driver will be made by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
