Cooper, Jones Gap Narrowing Quickly

The race for Sacramento County Sheriff between Jim Cooper and Scott Jones has narrowed in the most recent precinct report.

With 76 percent of precincts reporting, Jones leads Cooper by just over 4,000 votes. Jones' currently has 84,430 votes, or 51.11 percent to Cooper's 80,195, or 48.55 percent.
