In the four way race for two open seats on the Cosumnes Community Services District (CCSD) race Doug McElroy and Rod Brewer are in the lead.
With 79 of 140 precincts reporting, McElroy has 5,584 votes and Brewer has 5,301. The other contestents, Richard Lozano and Cliff Loveland have 4,991 and 2,556 votes respectively. The CCSD provides fire and parks and recreation services in Elk Grove and Galt.
