Three men were apprehended by Elk Grove Police early Wednesday morning following a suspected residential burglary.

According to police reports, officers responded to a call for an in-progress residential burglary near Kelsey Drive and Williamson Drive. While officers were en-route to the scene, a witness indicated they saw three suspects leaving the area in a green Buick LeSabre.

Officers located the vehicle and initiated an enforcement stop. After the three suspects were contacted, a records check revealed that one of the suspects, 23-year old Andre Williams of Sacramento was on probation. A search of the vehicle also led to the discovery of an unregistered loaded handgun.

Two other suspects were also arrested; 22-year old Christopher Doney and 24-year old Treavon Randoll, both of Sacramento. All the suspects were booked into the county jail.
