Detectives from the Elk Grove Police Department have made an arrest in connection with an armed robbery that took place at Extended Stay America on March 10. Luke Garlinger, a 30-year-old Sacramento resident was arrested after a vehicle stop this morning in Wilton.

Detectives received several tips from the Sacramento Citizen’s Crime Alert Program regarding the identity of the person responsible for the March 10th robbery. Through investigative efforts, detectives were able to identify and confirm that Luke Garlinger was responsible for the armed robbery.

Garlinger was arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail one count of robbery and a no bail warrant. Garlinger is scheduled to be arraigned on May 2, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. in Department 61.
