Elk Grove Juveniles Arrested for Robbery on e-tran Bus

Two Elk Grove juveniles were arrested late Saturday afternoon after they robbed and threatened to attack another juvenile on an e-tran bus.

According to police reports, two male juvenile suspects aged 15 and 14 confronted a 16-year old male while on a bus and demanded his backpack be emptied. When the victim refused to, one of the suspects took an I-Pod from the victims lap and gave it to the other suspect.

When the second suspect discovered the devise was password protected, he demanded the victim give him the password. When the victim refused, the first suspect acted as though he was going to attack the victim.

A witness recovered the the victim's devise and both suspects were taken into custody and transferred to juvenile hall.
