Elk Grove Man Leaves Accident Scene, Catches Bad Insta-Karma

Call it a case of insta-Karma for an Elk Grove man who fled the scene of an accident early Friday night then proceeded to flip his car.

According to Elk Grove Police, 27-year old Timothy Nolen was involved in a vehicle accident with another vehicle near Backer Ranch Road and Bruceville Road and instead of stopping fled the scene. As he was driving away, Nolen reportedly lost control of his vehicle and rolled his car on its side.

Responding officer detained Nolen who was them identified by several witnesses. The suspect was arrested and transferred to the county jail.
