Good Samaritan steps in, gets car keyed

Apparently, an Elk Grove man didn’t listen to his mother's lessons on manners, and that may have led to his arrest on Sunday afternoon.

According to Elk Grove Police Department reports, 21-year-old Justin Narayan was walking out of a business on the 4700 block of Laguna Boulevard when he allegedly pushed a customer out of the way. Responding to this action was a 26-year-old female who exchanged words with the suspect.

Not pleased with being taken to task for his offensive behavior, Narayan reportedly keyed the side of the car of the lady who attempted to correct his offensive behavior. To top off matters, Narayan then reportedly whipped out his black Sharpie and left a visible mark on the victim's car.

As Narayan tried to leave in his car, the victim tried to get the license plate number and he intentionally aimed his car at her. The victim was able to get out of the way.

Narayan fled the scene and was later arrested by police at his residence.
