A Sunday afternoon shopping outing for a Sacramento mother and daughter was not your prototypical trip to view fashions and perhaps rather have lunch. Rather the mother and daughter allegedly went shopping with sticky fingers

According to Elk Grove Police Department Reports, 33-year old Shanelle Ketchum and her 13-year old daughter were detained by the loss prevention personnel at the Kohls store on Calvine Road. Responding police officers arrested both on suspicion of shoplifting.

Mom was taken into custody and transferred to the county jail and the daughter was issued a misdemeanor citation and released to a relative.
