The Sacramento Public Library will present a special adult program with Bay Area author and social philosopher, Malcolm Kelly, for an exciting discussion on mindful parenting relationships on Saturday, August 27, at 10:30 a.m., at the Elk Grove branch, 8900 Elk Grove Boulevard, Elk Grove.

Kelly will discuss salient points from his book Seeds from the Ashes, and tie them into practical and workable solutions to assist parents with building effective and compassionate relationships with their children.

Kelly has written books that focus on self-discovery and enlightenment. He will present mindful techniques to assist parents with understanding the causes for parental guilt and disappointments, and how these techniques will provide them with the necessary clarity to participate in more enlightened relationships with their children of all ages.
